We are seeking a ASP.NET Core developer responsible for building and improving our current application using C#, HTML5, JavaScript & CSS3. The right candidate will be very comfortable switching from backend development to frontend as we are regularly adding functionalities that require updates to existing UI as well building new ones. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop these layers of our applications working with the rest of the team.
A commitment to producing high quality code, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential. The right candidate strikes the balance between being able to work independently and collaborative problem solving.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of the Lucra application by writing efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- Help improve overall code quality, organisation, and automatization.
- Translate business requirements & client use cases into functional components.
- Regularly update technical documentation and onboarding materials to reflect changes in our product and toolsets.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and any team meetings as necessary to discuss progress, issues, questions and other matters relating to Lucra’s application.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3-5+ years of professional experience as an ASP.NET Core Developer, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- In-depth knowledge of ASP.NET Core and proficiency with the latest versions and tools, including NuGet package management.
- Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and responsive design frameworks.
- Experience with modern web development frameworks and libraries such as React.
- Strong database skills, including experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases. ORMs / Entity Framework should hold no mystery to you.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and familiarity with Design and Architectural patterns
- Experience with Automated Testing
- Experience with Cloud platforms, such as Azure or AWS.
- Utilise version control systems like Git, for codebase management and collaboration.
- Great understanding of APIs and RESTful Web Services

- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritise tasks effectively.

- Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
